Privacy Policy

Data collection

FocusBlock does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal data. The extension has no user accounts, backend server, analytics, tracking, advertising, telemetry, cloud synchronization or external API client.

Local storage

FocusBlock stores settings, blocking rules, schedules, focus settings, statistics, achievements, security settings and imported block-page images locally in the user's Chrome profile using Chrome local storage. This information is not transmitted to FocusBlock or third parties.

Website and browsing data

FocusBlock does not inspect, collect or modify website content. Website blocking is performed locally through Chrome's declarativeNetRequest functionality.

Password protection

Passwords are not stored directly. Password verification uses PBKDF2-SHA-256 with 210,000 iterations and a randomly generated 128-bit salt. Verification data is stored locally.

Third parties

FocusBlock does not send user data to third-party services.
